The SOJ Block Club is a group of citizens who work together to improve the quality of life in our area of Tremont. he curb line.) Proper RUBBISH and GARBAGE containers. ABANDONED property and vehicles. LAW ENFORCEMENT and FIRE SAFETY. RATS and roaming DOGS. STREETS (plowing, paving, cleaning,, & potholes.) SPEEDING. ZONING VIOLATIONS or CHANGES (industrial noise, odors and pollution). VARIANCES. GENERAL APPEARANCE (parking, lighting, play space, traffic signs etc.) Future BEAUTIFICATION projects. Councilman McCormack announced last night at the TWDC Annual Meeting that the City secured purchase of the 2nd Lucky Park parcel! We own the whole park now. This means Tremont will have that green space preserved in perpetuity - hooray!!!

So grateful to the amazing Kerry McCormack and TWDC’s Julie Dahlhausen for their hard work in making this happen.

We can now move forward with park improvements!!!!
