Last Thursday, we were reminded of the power of simple, shared moments.

A group of volunteers from Envision Cleveland joined our day program participants, and spent time planting and tending to our garden, helping care for a space that our participants enjoy all summer long. The group also played games, joined in activities, and shared time together through genuine engagement and conversations.

We are grateful for volunteers who don't just give their time, but who show up with presence, patience, and heart.

The 40th Annual Tee Up for UCP Golf Tournament, presented by the Pamer Family, was a tremendous success! ⛳

Golfers enjoyed a beautiful day at Canterbury Golf Club while making a meaningful impact for children and adults with disabilities across Northeast Ohio.

A big shoutout to our Giving Back Group!

Through a canned food drive, along with proceeds from their Bake Sales, Popcorn Sale, Walking Taco and Spaghetti Lunch Fundraiser, they raised an incredible $1,864.75 - all donated to support those in need.

This generous contribution will help provide 3,729 meals to people in our community. We're so proud of their hard work and heart for giving back!

The Race to Empower 5K & 1-Mile Walk was more than just a race – it was a celebration of community, connection, and purpose.

We're so thankful to all those whose vision and leadership brought this event to life.

We are excited to announce Rebecca Guenther as the new Director of LeafBridge Services at UCP of Greater Cleveland.

Rebecca brings nearly two decades of experience, leadership, and dedication to this role. Since joining UCP more than 18 years ago as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), she has served in several leadership positions, including SLP Supervisor, Manager of Education Services, and most recently, Interim Director of LeafBridge Services.

Rebecca is also an Assistive Technology Professional and specializes in Augmentative and Alternative Communication. She has played an integral role in the growth and expansion of LeafBridge programming and locations.

In her new role, Rebecca will oversee all aspects of LeafBridge Services, including therapy, education, and ancillary programming. Her collaborative, person-centered leadership approach and deep commitment to the individuals and families we serve make her exceptionally well-suited to lead LeafBridge into its next chapter.

Please join us in congratulating Rebecca on this well-deserved appointment.
