Lifeworks Autism Services is excited to share a new chapter as we have merged with Milestones Autism Resources to expand and strengthen support for autistic individuals, their families, caregivers, and the professionals who serve them.

This partnership brings together two trusted, mission-driven organizations with shared values and complementary strengths, united by a commitment to empowering individuals with autism. Together, we will expand access to resources, enhance training opportunities, and continue advancing meaningful support for the autism community.

As the need for services grows, this collaboration allows us to reach more individuals and families while delivering education and support that make a lasting impact.

We are grateful to our staff and supporters who made this possible, and we look forward to the work ahead together!

In six months since the merge of Lifeworks Autism Services and Milestones Autism Resources, Lifeworks has worked toward preserving Milestones’ resources as it became a program of Lifeworks.

Join us this Saturday! Lifeworks Autism Services will be at the 2026 Northeast Ohio Transition Expo on Saturday, April 25 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Independence Civic Center.

This community event brings together individuals with disabilities, families, caregivers, and professionals for a morning focused on the transition to adulthood. Stop by to explore resources including employment, housing, recreation, assistive technology, and more, and connect with our team along with other local organizations supporting this important journey.

No registration is required, just come by and say hello. We hope to see you there!

At Lifeworks Autism Services, we’re proud to highlight the people whose dedication strengthens our mission every day with another STAFF SPOTLIGHT! Today, we’re celebrating Brian Feitl, our Coordinator of Behavioral Health, therapist, and the leader of our Behavioral Health Respite Program.

Brian brings a thoughtful, relationship centered approach to every role he takes on. His work is grounded in forming strong therapeutic connections, collaborating closely with his team, and supporting clients as they grow in confidence, independence, and self understanding.

March was the LUCKIEST month for individuals participating in services at Lifeworks Autism. ✨🍀

In Supported Living, intern Kieran, our own LUCKY LEPRECHAUN, teamed up with clients to whip up delicious shamrock shakes. There was plenty of blending, laughing, and taste testing, and we’re pretty sure the secret ingredient was pure joy.

Meanwhile, over in Day Services, clients got crafty with festive shamrock art projects. The creativity was flowing, and the finished pieces were bright, bold, and totally frame worthy.

We love celebrating the little moments that bring our community together. Thanks to everyone who joined in the fun—our days are always brighter with you in them. 🌈💚

🎬 Movie Club was a SLAM DUNK this month with individuals in Supported Living 🏀

This month, our Movie Club hit the court and returned to the 90s with Space Jam. We fueled up with ‘Michael’s Secret Stuff’, plus Bug’s favorite snack, carrots, and some ‘mini-basketballs’, or cheese balls!

One of the biggest hits of the night was our hands-on activity—everyone got to decorate their own wooden jersey. The creativity on display was incredible, and each jersey turned out as unique as the person who made it.

We love creating spaces where our community can relax, connect, and have fun together. Already excited for next month’s feature—because Movie Club always brings the magic! Thanks to our amazing individuals and staff for always making it a fun night.

💙 Lifeworks OhioRISE Behavior Respite Program.

Looking for a safe, structured, and engaging break for your child? Families with OhioRISE funding can access our 3 hours of center-based respite led by highly trained staff who specialize in autism interventions.

Kids enjoy a supportive environment filled with fun, meaningful activities such as:
• Cooking projects
• Games and interactive play
• Community outings
• Themed parties and special events

Your child gets a positive, enriching experience — and you get time to recharge, run errands, or simply breathe.
