The Gary Burr Memorial Fund

The Gary Burr Memorial Fund Gary was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident on June 18th, 2022. He leaves behind a wife, two daughters and three grandchildren.

We started this memorial fund to help other families who have lost a husband and/or father to a motorcycle accident by donating towards funeral expenses. We hope Gary’s legacy lives on through the Gary Burr Memorial Fund. Donations can be made at any Huntington Bank location. If you would like to mail a check please message me for the address. All proceeds go directly to families in need. Please check back for future fundraising events. Thank you for your generosity.

As Motorcycle Awareness month comes to a close we are again reminded safety needs to be the priority for both riders and drivers. There is no place you are going that requires you to drive recklessly or carelessly. Every person on the road with you is someone’s parent, spouse, child, grandparent or friend. The statistics are real! Do your part to make sure everyone arrives to their destination safely and alive!

I have a favor to ask of each one of you. Please take a moment to share this post with everyone you know.

I am told over and over what a great man my husband was it's a fact I am well aware of. Gary put others first he gave of himself to better the lives of others. He was a devoted husband, proud father, a wonderful pops and an amazing friend.

He was a true friend to those deserving, not only when it was convenient but especially when it wasn't.

I know summers are busy for everyone but I asking that you take a second look at June 20, 2026. On that day we will be helping families who face the most devastating loss of a loved one. On that day we will work to ensure that families know there are people who truly know their loss. On that day we will remember and honor a man who deserves that and more. Every person who shows up that day is helping to do all of these things.

My family is so grateful for the continued support from our friends, family and the people we have never met.
