SMITH WIGGLESWORTH SAID: “There’s something about believing God that will cause God to pass over a million people to get to you.”
God is looking for those with faith. Those who will believe that what He has said is true and act upon it. I remember twenty years ago I was wanting to see healings and miracles and asking God to move in power in my life and through me. I read about people like Smith Wigglesworth and how he saw tremendous miracles and even resurrected people from the dead! I wanted that.
Then one day the Lord asked me to give up my career, which I knew meant laying down the business we’d worked hard to establish, having no income and therefore having to let go of our dream home. We had no idea what would happen to us, but that same day, after praying and talking with Rob, and after a few tears, we made the decision to give it all up.
Within a couple of days, the Lord had spoken to me clearly and given me specific direction for the next steps which again were to be big risks of faith but which eventually would lead to us not only seeing incredible miracles, but helping others to do the same.
I knew at once that if we had not been obedient to Him and stepped out in faith, then I would probably still be waiting now and wondering if I was ever going to begin walking in my destiny. Perhaps I would have given up by now or got disillusioned or bitter or turned my back on God. Who knows?
Maybe you’re in that position now and wondering what happened and why has God not shown up. Maybe you feel like you missed some opportunity in the past or took some wrong turns. But I want to tell you that God has not given up on you. Your destiny is still there for the taking, and NOW IS THE TIME for you to get right with God, to say sorry if you need to. It is NOT TOO LATE and God wants to restore those years to you and give you back your hope.
Perhaps you haven’t given up and you sense that what you’ve been waiting for is just around the corner. Be bold, take courage and choose to believe what God has shown you and TAKE THOSE STEPS OF FAITH.
“For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him” (2 Chron 16).
God is looking for those who will take Him at His word so that He can be strong on their behalf. Are you one of those ‘one in a million’ whom God is seeking out? Don’t delay a moment longer. Do what He’s asking of you.
