The Bar Fairies has grown from a little mother-daughter team in Montana to more than 13 regional directors in 6 states, with hundreds of volunteers and more interest every day 🥹

The volunteers are the only reason we’ve been able to do this. Our regional directors are a FANTASTIC, diverse, fun, creative, and driven group of folks with so many individual strengths and so much passion. The individual volunteers who go out on weekend mornings are from every walk of life — some greatly affected by drunk driving, some with a preventative desire to protect their communities, some just looking for a way to help in a fun way, and some with a desire to make sense of their own past mistakes.

Bar Fairies is intended to be a REWARD for doing the right thing. We hope that it is something that will cause the recipient to pause and feel proud of themselves for a moment. Something to keep this issue front of mind, so that we can all help protect one another by being the designated driver or encouraging a friend to leave their keys.

Because this issue affects so many of us in such a deeply emotional way, we’ve been fortunate enough to attract people who care a whole lot, and who have made this possible. We would be nowhere without you 💛

Parents and family members of these two, Taylor and Seth, stood in front of high schoolers today to share the impact that drunk driving has had on them when they lost their loved ones (Taylor in 2017, and Seth just last year. 💔)

Timing and circumstances are different between all of us, but the pain is the same. Talking about a loss of this magnitude is never easy and I’m grateful to you all for doing it anyway in an effort to help save others. ❤️
