👻 Keeping Every Child Safe This Halloween 🎃

Halloween can be a magical time — but for children with autism, it can also bring sensory overload, anxiety, and safety challenges.
At MyRobi, we’re committed to protecting every child’s tomorrow by spreading awareness and compassion.

Here are a few ways you can help this Halloween:
🦋 Choose sensory-friendly costumes that are soft and tag-free
💡 Use reflective gear or ID tags for added safety
🚫 Avoid flashing lights and loud noises around trick-or-treaters
🤝 Give children space and patience — not every child will say “trick or treat”

As we approach Halloween, let’s be extra mindful of our loved ones with autism.

Individuals with autism can face unique risks around cars — both as pedestrians and as drivers. Sensory differences, challenges with processing social cues, and executive functioning can make navigating busy, high-stimulus environments more difficult.

🚶‍♀️ Pedestrians: Loud sounds, flashing lights, and crowded streets can make it hard to focus or react quickly, increasing the risk of accidents.
🚗 Drivers: Sensory overload or coordination challenges can also make driving more stressful or unsafe in certain conditions.

Please slow down, stay alert, and create safer spaces for every trick-or-treater and family on the road this season. Together, we can keep all children safe — for Robi, and for every child. 💜

🌈💜 When it comes to Autism, food isn’t just food — it’s safety, comfort, and trust. Our Robi loved chicken nuggets and fries. And while we worried about nutrition, she was happy and healthy.

Many children on the spectrum have sensory sensitivities that make trying new foods overwhelming. What might seem like “picky eating” is often their way of protecting themselves from textures, smells, or experiences that feel unpredictable.

🍟🥦 It’s not about taste — it’s about feeling safe.
💛 Meet them where they are, not where we expect them to be.
