Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, firefighters for their tragic loss of 2 long-time Battalion Chiefs, and another firefighter in post-op recovery.

As our communities sort through this terrible tragedy, we are again reminded of the unforgiving hardships our Frontline Heroes face daily. Their bravery and daily sacrifice for the good of their community are beacons of light that help guide us through these dark tragedies.

Thank you to all the Law Enforcement agencies and officers who bravely answered the call to help their fellow brothers in their greatest time of need.

Next time you see a firefighter or law enforcement officer this week, take a moment and thank them. That small act of kindness creates a beautiful and positive ripple effect that this industry could greatly use during these heavy times.

After the famous "shot heard around the world" on April 19th, 1775, the Continental Congress immediately began to work on establishing the Continental Army. On June 14, 1775, the Continental Congress established the Continental Army, beginning 250 years of unwavering service to our nation. Less than 72 hours later, they became battle-tested at the Battle of Bunker Hill, taking the entire world by surprise when they fought the British Army, while under British Naval bombardment, yet they held the line. This legacy paved the way for battles and wars to come.

From Valley Forge to Normandy, from Korea to Afghanistan, our Army has defended freedom across the globe.

The numbers tell the story:
• Over **30 million Americans** have proudly served in the Army
• Approximately **1.4 million service members** made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom
• The Army has the most recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor, with 2,467 soldiers out of 3,526 total awarded

From the Continental Army's fight for independence to today's soldiers serving worldwide, each generation has answered the call with courage, honor, and dedication.

At Frontline Heroes Foundation, we see this legacy continuing in our youth cadet programs - the next generation ready to serve their communities and nation. The American Dream lives on!

*This Memorial Day, we honor not just those who fell on foreign battlefields, but all who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others.*

To the 343 firefighters who climbed those towers on 9/11, knowing they might not come back down. To the 72 police officers who ran toward danger that September morning. To the EMS professionals, nurses, and first responders who've lost their lives protecting our communities. To the military heroes who gave everything for freedom from Bunker Hill to Fallujah.

Your sacrifice echoes through generations.

Today's youth explorers and cadets carry forward your legacy of service. They train with the same courage, dedication, and selfless spirit that defined your service. Through programs across Florida and beyond, these young heroes are preparing to fill the ranks you once held with honor.

At Frontline Heroes Foundation, we see Memorial Day not just as remembrance, but as a call to action. We're committed to ensuring that the next generation of firefighters, law enforcement, EMS, and military personnel are equipped, mentored, and ready to serve with the same valor you demonstrated.

Our mission is simple: to save the decline in youth Cadet programs throughout Florida by providing critical financial support to these organizations.

92% of frontline cadet programs are severely underfunded.

Last year, Florida lost 9% of their youth cadet programs, citing budget constraints.
