The cone is off! Staples out at noon and mouth recheck from his pretty extensive dental surgery!

We are here. She’s been doing a little better the past 24 hours. But when a dog yelps when moved, somethings not right. Charlotte is long like a dachshund. So the risk of back problems is high. Hoping she just twisted something.

It’s $5 Friday

This week has been a little crazy. A lot has been going on.

The main concern right now is Lil Bit Charlotte ❤️. Something’s going on. She has not been herself for a couple of days. I just made a vet appointment for 8 am Sunday morning. I do think bloodwork and X-rays will be done which will be at least $500. Because of her autoimmune issues and thyroid disease it will have to be full bloodwork to get the whole picture.

She’s acting sore so I’m worried she hurt her back or something. I don’t know. I’m worried sick. But I’ll see what happens and do the best I can. She’s not her spunky little self.

So today’s $5 Friday will be for Charlotte’s vet bill this coming Sunday.

Today is Thankful Thursday!

As always we have so much to be thankful for! Last weeks wishlist Wednesday really was great! We received about a months worth of dry food and about 2-3 weeks of canned!

We are going through an extra amount of canned food right now because of Charlie’s dental surgery and he can only eat canned food for at least 2 weeks. He’s 37 lbs so that’s a good amount of canned food.

I didn’t put up a wishlist request yesterday as I try to only ask when needed. By next week the need will be there again.

Thank you all so much for the donations, support, commenting on & sharing our posts, believing in what we do and caring about these dogs too.

I could not do this without you!

These 2 have become besties!

Sparky & Samantha

Both about 3 1/2 years old & both up for adoption! A home without children would be best for either of them.

They did not come in together and are not bonded. They’re just having fun while waiting for their forever families!

On another note, Charlie Brown is healing nicely.

We are all in cone hell together but getting through it. Suture site looks good. He’s taking his antibiotics. Keep sending him all the good juju, prayers, healing energy, all of it. Hopefully one more week and his staples get removed.

Everybody here will be happy not to see this cone charging full force towards you.
