🍕If pugs could talk, most of their daily communication would probably be about snacks.

They may act like they’re starving 24/7, but keeping our dogs at a healthy weight is one of the best things we can do for their long term health and comfort.
For pugs especially, extra weight can put more strain on their breathing, joints, and mobility.

So yes, they are very convincing.
And no, they do not actually need a fourth breakfast. 😏

❗Today, on National Pet Obesity Awareness Day, we're sharing an important reminder: Just because they want more food doesn't mean they need it. A healthy weight isn't just about appearance. It's about helping our dogs live longer, healthier, and more comfortable lives.

👇🏼Tell us in the comments: what’s your dog’s most dramatic “I’m starving” behavior?

💘 The dating pool just got SIX pugs smaller!

Archie, Maisie, Bailey, Buddy, Poppi, and Bowser are officially OFF THE MARKET!

Six pugs have found their forever people, six families have gained a whole lot of love, and six households are about to discover who's REALLY in charge. 😂🐾

Behind every one of these happy endings are foster families, adopters, volunteers, and supporters who helped make it possible. We couldn't do what we do without you! 💙

🥳 Help us congratulate our newest Happy Tails graduates and their forever families!

👉 Swipe to meet the lucky pugs who are officially off the market!

Sitting. Waiting. Wishing. 💙

Jerry has places to go, people to charm, and a very important life to live. He does NOT have time for these delays. 🤨

Unfortunately, his custom spine parts aren't exactly available with Amazon Prime shipping.

Because Jerry's spine is so tiny and his deformity is so complex, his surgical implants have to be specially made and bent to fit him. We're still waiting for those final adjustments before his surgery can be scheduled.

Jerry would like everyone to know that he did NOT approve this timeline. 🙄

In the meantime, he's keeping busy supervising the neighborhood, charming everyone he meets, and making sure his foster family doesn't get a single moment of peace.

📆 We know so many of you are waiting for updates right along with us, and we promise we'll share the news as soon as we have a surgery date!

Until then, Jerry has decided that life is too short to sit around worrying about things he can't control.
Although, apparently, it's not too short to sit around waiting for snacks. 🧀

Forget perfect. Choose happy. 💙
