Josh Mayhew Foundation We are focused on helping people and the community one cause at a time while spreading awareness about Su***de Prevention.

This Page was started in 2025 to honor Josh Mayhew who passed away in 2023 after a silent battle with depression. Josh was someone that when you met him you felt like you have known him your entire life and he could always put a smile on your face or have your stomach hurting from laughing so hard. He was a father of three amazing and beautiful young girls, a loving son, wonderful uncle, amazing b

rother, and an even more amazing friend who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He was an avid pool player and loved to throw darts on his free time and was often referred to as "maniac" and his favorite number was 55. Josh always wanted his name to mean something, he wanted to mean something and our goal with this foundation is to do just that. We want to honor him and the only way we know how to do that is by giving back to the community in honor of his name. We will be holding fundraisers, events as well as taking donations for us to be able to do just that. If you have any questions, would like to know what we are doing as a foundation, or simply have any input please feel free to reach out to any one of us as well as attend one of our zoom meetings that we hold. Just wanted to let everyone know that after careful consideration the Foundation's Scholarship committee has decided to award 9 total students from 3 different schools. We look forward to presenting these outstanding students their awards. Congratulations to all!!

Just wanted to update everyone that the Foundation recieved over 20 scholarship applications from Clearfield Highschool, Curwensville High school, and CCCTC. WOW! That is amazing. Now we have the tough job to decide whom among these amazing and hardworking students and young adults are worthy. To say the least, this is a very daunting task.

A huge shout out to all those that participated and donated in the scholarship fundraiser today. With your help there was a total of $2224 raised for the Foundation's scholarship fund. We will be awarding scholarships to qualified students at Curwensville, Clearfield, and CCTC in May. Thank you so much for all of the support. Thank you to the Fraternal Order of Eagles 812 for all the support and help.

In around 12 hours give or take Mom and I will be leaving along with my kiddos and heading to Clearfield for the Scholarship fund bar room olympics. We hope to see you all there and remember there will be a chinese auction as well as 50/50 I believe set up down stairs. Some come in, have a great time, support the scholarship fund and the foundation turning one and also support the amazing Fraternal order of Eagles as their kitchen will be open. That place has been beyond amazing to us and we are honored to be a part of the Eagles. See you all Saturday!!!

We are still in need of donations for the basket raffle. If you are able to donate please reach out to either Mandii or John and they will gladly help. Any donation is appreciated. Please share and get the word out. Celebrating the foundation turning one and proceeds go to our scholarship fund!!!

We have reached out and gave each school the paperwork and guidelines for the scholarship(s) through the foundation. This year we have selected to do Curwensville Area School District, Clearfield Area School District as well as the CCCTC. If you have a senior that is interested in a scholarship and they attend one of those schools please have them reach out to their guidance counselor. The scholarship is up to a thousand dollars per student. If you would like to help/donate with the scholarship funds please reach out to one of us and we would be greatly appreciated. Don't forget about the bar olympics coming up on the 28th at the Fraternal Order of Eagles where the proceeds go towards our program. Thank you all for your support!!!
