This is Steve Blikenstaff! He is my project beneficiary for my Eagle Scout pavilion, and the President of Izaak Walton Washington County. People who know him, know that he is such a kind person. He has been so helpful with my project and I wouldn't have wanted to do this project for anyone else. Steve always had the best interest on doing whatever he could to support, and guide me throught this whole thing. I truly can't thank him enough for everything!
As some of you may know I have been going to Izaak walton since I was little, and I have always loved it there. I participated in many youth activities and learned a lot of new things. Mr. Larry helped teach me archery, shooting sports, I attended fishing derbies, and he helped teach Dalton and I how to hunt, and our love for veterans! One thing Mr. Larry always said was he wanted a pavillion down by the pond, and when I was little I thought nothing of it. I always thought It would be cool to have a pavillion down there for when I was fishing. So when I first heard the idea of a pavillion for an eagle project at izaak walton I took it for Mr Larry. I had known what kind of benefits it would give to all sorts of people and events. But my biggest inspiration was to be able to make one of Mr Larry's visions be accomplished. Mr Larry passed a few days ago and never got to see the final result, but I know that he is up in heaven looking down on the pavillion smiling with joy.
I truly want to thank Steve for giving me this opportunity to be able to do something so special and meaningful to me and many other people.
