We meet Thursdays from 7-8am (Breakfast and Networking @ 6:45am) at Rainbow Lanes Family Fun Center - Room A: 850 Veterans Pkwy. Welcome to Clayton Rotary Club, where once a week a group of diverse business and professional people gather to enjoy each other's company over breakfast, plan events that serve the Clayton community and the world, and learn from a variety of speakers who offer short programs. We become great friends, promote leadership and ethical behavior, provide scholarships, contribute to the global eradication of polio, and spread peace and goodwill through more than 35,000 Rotary clubs around the world.

The Clayton Rotary Club was pleased to welcome Rotary District 7710 District Governor ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ธ ๐—š๐—ฎ๐—น๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ด๐—ต๐—ฒ๐—ฟ for his Official Club Visit at our meeting this past Thursday, October 8, 2026!
DG Pat shared his plans and goals for the 2026โ€“2027 Rotary year, encouraging Rotarians throughout the district to "Roll Up Your Sleeves" by turning our passion for service into action and creating lasting impact in our communities and around the world.
Following his presentation, Club President Greg Adamson presented a $500 donation to Rotary's PolioPlus program in honor of DG Pat. This contribution supports Rotary's ongoing efforts to eradicate polio worldwide and reflects our shared commitment to service.
After the Club meeting, DG Pat joined our Board of Directors meeting to get to know our Club's leadership, learn more about our activities and service projects, and hear about the impact Clayton Rotary is making in our community and worldwide.
Thank you, DG Pat, for taking the time to visit with us, learn more about our Club, and share your vision for the year ahead. We look forward to rolling up our sleeves and working together.

Please join us for a hot breakfast and our weekly meeting this Thursday, October 01, 2026. Breakfast and networking begin at 6:45 am and our meeting runs from 7:00 am to 8:00 am at Rainbow Lanes Family Fun Center, Meeting Room A, 850 Veterans Parkway, Clayton, NC.
This week, our guest presenter is Scott Chadwick, Head Football Coach at Clayton High School. Coach Chadwick's topic is "Clayton High School Football and Building Culture Within an Organization."

It took a lot of years of Club members and Club Presidents trying to get an Interact Club started at Corinth Holders High School - JCPS, but it finally became official this year! The Clayton Rotary Club now has TWO Interact Clubs. We waited patiently and we finally received the official certification and letter from Rotary International. It's long overdue but we are so happy to officially welcome the Corinth Holders Interact Club to the Clayton Rotary Club family!

The Paul Harris Fellow recognition acknowledges those individuals who contribute to, or to whom others have made contributions in their name, to Rotary International's nonprofit, The Rotary Foundation, for $1,000. A portion of the money these individuals donate returns to our Rotary District as grants to do good in our communities. After that initial donation, every additional $1,000 adds a "+ number." Each recipient receives a pin specific to their donation level. Once a donor reaches the "+" level (over $ 1,000 donated), each pin they receive will feature one or more sapphires or rubies, depending on the amount donated to the Rotary Foundation.

At our weekly meeting on Thursday, September 17, 2026, Club Rotary Foundation Chair Mike Mullins presented a Paul Harris +4 to Club member Karen Nelson Hudson (whom we affectionately call "Happy"). Congratulations, Happy; thank you for your giving heart and generous contributions to the Rotary Foundation.
