We’re excited to share an opportunity from Wize Academy that encourages children to explore their curiosity and develop new skills through an experience they already enjoy. It’s a chance to make learning feel engaging, creative, and meaningful.

Online Coding in Minecraft is designed for students in Grades 1–5, with live instructor-led sessions and no prior experience needed.

What if your child could turn their love of Minecraft into a chance to create, code, and explore computer science? 🎮

Wize Academy’s Online Coding in Minecraft program gives students in Grades 1–5 the opportunity to step into the role of Game Studio Directors, design their own ideas, and build playable Minecraft worlds using Minecraft: Education Edition.

It’s more than playing,it’s a creative way for children to solve problems, explore technology, and bring their ideas to life. And the best part? No prior coding experience is needed!

💙 With Grateful Hearts, Thank You for Showing Up for Our Families

On Sunday, August 30, Family Life Project had the blessing of coming together with New Life Christian Center to support local families through our Back-to-School Giveaway.

What made this day so special was not just the backpacks, school supplies, and groceries that were provided. It was the people who came together to make it happen.

We want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to every person who donated, volunteered, organized, packed, served, encouraged, and helped make this day possible. Your time, generosity, and compassion truly mattered.

A very special thank you to the Tools for School program for your generous donation of backpacks. Because of your support, children in our community were able to receive something they could carry into the new school year with pride and excitement.

We are also deeply grateful to New Life Christian Center for partnering with us and welcoming families into your space. Through the Food Pantry, families were able to receive groceries in addition to school supplies, helping us address both the needs of children and the needs of the families caring for them. 🥫

To our volunteers and community supporters, thank you for giving your time and energy. To every family who came out, thank you for allowing us to serve you. And to everyone behind the scenes who helped make this possible, please know that your contribution did not go unnoticed.

This experience reminded us that sometimes a backpack is more than a backpack. A bag filled with school supplies can represent encouragement, confidence, opportunity, and hope for a child. A bag of groceries can provide relief for a parent who is trying to make ends meet.

Most importantly, this day reminded us that families do not have to walk through challenging seasons alone.

We are incredibly grateful for every hand that helped, every heart that cared, and every person who believed that supporting families and children is worth investing in.

Thank you for helping us continue this work. Thank you for believing in our families. Thank you for being part of our community. 💙

We’re excited to share Wize Computing Academy’s Online Coding in Minecraft, an online club launching this fall that gives students the opportunity to learn real computer science concepts through one of their favorite video games!

In this program, students don’t just play Minecraft — they build it. Each child steps into the role of a Game Studio Director, designing, coding, and launching their very own playable Minecraft world using Minecraft: Education Edition.

Students will learn real computer science concepts through Minecraft, and no prior experience is needed.

💙 What a beautiful evening of community, generosity, and support!

Our August 20 Back-to-School Giveaway at Claymont Library was truly a success, with approximately 175 parents, children, coming through our doors. We are incredibly grateful to every family who joined us, especially those who arrived early and made the evening so special.

To all the parents who brought their children, thank you for allowing Family Life Project to be part of your family’s back-to-school journey. And to every child who joined us, thank you for bringing your smiles, excitement, and joy! It was a privilege to see so many young students receive support as they prepare for a new school year. 🎒💙

We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make this event possible through their generosity, time, donations, partnership, and hard work. Your support allowed us to serve local families and provide resources that can make a meaningful difference.

A special thank you to the Claymont Library, our volunteers, donors, community supporters, and everyone who shared the event and helped spread the word.
