Day 4 is complete and all are in bed. I apologize for not making my rounds today for more pictures of the other boys. I had to pull out the work computer for a couple of hours. I did get to eat the pancakes that were made in Cooking class. I guess the boys didn’t want to eat their own cooking🤣🤷🏻‍♀️. Search and Rescue has been a great class, and today they found “the missing hiker.” Then there was fishing. All week he’s been ready for this moment! Even after the fish ate the worm, he just kept casting the hook into the water🤣.

For Troop activities, the boys took a Geology class and earned that merit badge! Afterwards they had fun throwing tomahawks. Then it was family time! Along with that came some amazing food. Thank you parents!!

The evening ended with the Order of the Arrow tap out ceremony. Congratulations to two of our boys being tapped and given the opportunity to be an OA candidate!

Day 3 is now over. The boys pushed through this rainy day like the champs that they are! There was sculpting and cooking. Search and rescue was quite interesting today. Our smallest scout thought he had it all figured out but ended up going to the wrong class. We got him all fixed up and ready to get back on track tomorrow. We used some of our free time today doing some art stuff. The rest of the time was just sitting around and relaxing. The evening was closed out with OA elections. We will find out tomorrow night who gets tapped out!

Day 2 is now done. We started the morning out with some cooking, search and rescue, lifesaving, insect studies, and archery (more to come another day). After lunch our youngest was so bored he began pranking himself! 🤣 Then it was off to a conservation project (ONE SERVICE HOUR 😉). After that was shotgun with a friendly father/daughter competition. Dinner was served, and the mud run closed out the evening. What a great day!

Day 1 is officially over! It’s hot out here, but the boys are handling it well. Everyone is in good spirits! I took a selfie after the group picture at the entrance. That’s proof that I’m here🤣. We did learn that Mr long legs is going to have to start walking in the rear of the group 🤣. Our youngest scout is in a tent all by himself! 😳Yes mom, you heard me correctly! Our SPL is quite the note taker! He wants to be on staff now!

What a beautiful day to explore Tigers for Tomorrow! A black bear put itself in the corner for a timeout. The bobcats were napping. The hyenas, grizzly bear, and wolves all looked hungry. Thank goodness for fences!
