This last week was such a great way to kick off Spooky Season 👻 Here’s what we did!

Monday was a day to relax, so that’s what we did! We spent most of the day indoors watching some of our favorites, and Mr. Matthew decided to get crafty with the Chick-Fil-A cow; I think they both had fun with that one 😅 For lunch we had spaghetti and meatballs, with garlic toast on the side; Michele was so helpful with the toast! After lunch, a few of us decided we wanted to take the Polaris out, and we had a blast doing some off-roading!

We had SUCH an adventure on Tuesday! We drove out to Ashland City to see the WWII ship and that was such an amazing experience to be had. All of the Peas really enjoyed it, and we were even accompanied by a few of the Pea Parents; a huge shoutout to Mrs. Vicki, Mr. Doug and Mr. Demetrius for hanging out with us, even if it was only for a little while! For lunch we had Huddy’s and their burgers are absolutely delicious! They’re also just really great people, so if you ever get the chance, you should absolutely give them a try!

Wednesday was spent checking out all of the Halloween stuff over at Spirit Halloween, and that was a LOT of fun! Most of the Peas got the finishing touches for their costumes, and we just had fun looking at all of the spooky things they had. We’re doing a group costume this year and we’re so excited to show y’all what we’re doing, so definitely stay tuned! After we were done shopping, we went over to Steak N’ Shake for lunch.

Thursday was definitely a day to be had! We started the day off at Tommy’s home, where we did sign-langue with Mrs. Betty, and watched some of our favorite shows. For lunch the Peas had a choice of eating their lunches from home, or the mini chicken tacos that Mrs. Kat provided for us; most of them chose both 😂 We also celebrated Katie’s birthday this day with some cupcakes, and Mrs. Margy strung up a Happy Birthday banner for her; it was so sweet! That evening, Katie had a big luau with all of her friends to celebrate her birthday, and boy does she have a lot of friends! You can tell she’s loved by so many amazing people. Unfortunately a couple of the Peas were unable to make it, but all in all it was a really great time!Katie was so kind to ask for donations for Peas in a Pod instead of getting gifts, and we got quite the donations, so thank you so much to everyone who was able to donate; we greatly appreciate you!

We aren’t meeting this week due to it being Fall Break, but we’ll be back at it next week, and we can’t wait to show y’all what we have in store for the rest of October!

What a week! Here’s what we did!

Monday was a super relaxing day. We decided we wanted to watch some movies, so we watched Herbie the Love Bug and also Herbie Fully Loaded. Lunch was a group effort; Michele made the chili, Tom made cornbread, and then Sabrina made cookies with the help from one of the Pea Parents.

Tuesday ended up being such a great day weather wise! We visited Sycamore Creek, and some of us took advantage of the play ground, while the rest of us hung out at the tables by the water and just chit-chatted. Now, it’s not a true Sycamore Creek day without Excell BBQ, so that’s what we did for lunch! All in all we had such a great day!

We spent the majority of Wednesday outside as well since it’s not so hot anymore, and it ended up also being a really great day. We went to Coy Lacy Park to get some serious swinging in, and those of us who didn’t want to swing hung out and enjoyed each other’s company. For lunch we went to Chick-fil-A, and we got to see one of our fellow Peas hard at work; it’s always such a pleasure to be able to go visit Katie when she’s at work.

Today was spent relaxing at Tommy’s house, and we got to see our friend Mrs. Betty for sign language. We focused on Halloween signs, and at the end Mrs. Betty handed out little fidget toys, temporary tattoos, and stickers. The Peas enjoyed lunches from home.

Hey, y’all! We had such a great week! Here’s what we did!

Since Monday was the last day of Summer, half of us decided to take advantage of one last pool day for the year, and trust us when we say that we will absolutely miss the pool! Those of us who weren’t really up to swimming hung out inside and helped Mrs. Sarah out in the kitchen. For lunch, Mrs. Sarah made grilled cheese sandwiches that came out so yummy; we were so proud of her! We paired the sandwiches with chicken noodle soup and fruit, and for dessert we had brownies with a scoop of ice cream on top! 😋 We want to give a huge shoutout to Michele for being such a big help with preparing and serving the food!

Tuesday was the first official day of Fall, and you could DEFINITELY tell! It felt amazing outside, so we visited the Wade Bourne Nature Center, and their deck was the perfect spot to spend the day! We all hung out, and got some great conversations in! We also did some dancing, and that’s always fun! For lunch we had Burger King. Feel free to check out the comments for a video of some of our dancing!

We haven’t been to the mall in a while, so that’s what we did on Wednesday! We got some window shopping in, and there was even a puppy! The Peas absolutely enjoyed meeting their new puppy friend, as well as her owners. For lunch, some of us had Sam’s Greek Café, and the rest of us decided on some Chinese food; all from the Food Court in the Mall.

Today was our last day for the week, and Tommy of course hosted us at his home. We spent the day up in Tommy’s speaker room watching Romana and Beezus, and the Peas enjoyed lunches from home. It was a great way to end a busy week!

Here’s to another great week down!

Monday was spent at one of our personal homes, and we spent the day indoors watching Wizards of Waverley Place; we used to watch it every day so it was nice to bring it back around! For lunch we had lasagna paired with Texas toast and it was of course delicious.

On Tuesday, we visited our friends down at the Thirsty Goat, and that was of course so much fun! Before it got too hot, we ordered us some coffees and played some games outside, and then we came inside and continued to play more games and just enjoy each others company when it got too hot out. For lunch we had pizza, specifically one of their special pizzas called the Kitchen Sink, and that was delicious as always! If you’re looking for great food and great people, the Thirsty Goat is the place to be!

Wednesday was our day to go bowling, and we did just that! We spent the day at the Pinnacle bowling until our hearts were content, and then we had pizza for lunch; it’s not true bowling without pizza of course! It was so much fun, and we always look forward to going!

Today was a nice, relaxing day. Tom and his family hosted us at their home, and we spent the day up in Tommy’s speaker room watching the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory movie. We also had a mini dance party. For lunch, Jacob’s mama provided mini tacos, which we absolutely love, and then for dessert we had apple c***r donuts!

Overall it was a great week, and we can’t wait to show y’all what we have in store for the weeks to come!

It was a short week, but it was full of so many fun activities; here’s what we did!

Monday was Labor Day, so we didn’t meet.

On Tuesday, we went out to Mrs. Sarah and Mr. Matthew’s farm, and we watched a really great movie called the Second Hand Lion; that was SUCH a great movie — thanks Mrs. Sarah for picking it out! For lunch we had Subway sandwiches with some chips on the side, and for dessert Mr. Matthew picked us out some cookies and cream cookies. After our movie, and after everyone was done eating, most of the Peas took turns riding on an electric trike with Mr. Matthew, and they had so much fun!

We spent Wednesday exploring the City Hall square, and we got to see just how much progress they’re making on our building; we are SO excited for it to be finished! After we were done checking out all of the neat things the square has to offer, we went over to Joe’s Garage for lunch, and that was of course delicious.

Tommy hosted us at his home today, and we spent most of the day upstairs in his speaker room. Before lunch, we watched Night of the Twisters, and then afterwards the Peas enjoyed lunches from home. After we ate, we finished the day off strong with Camp Rock 2: the Finale.

It was such a great week, and we can’t wait for y’all to see what we have in store for the next coming week!

Another great week down, and many many more to go! Here’s what we did!

Monday is our day to hang out at one of our personal homes, so that’s what we did! We spent the day watching a movie called the Twisters, and then for lunch we enjoyed some lasagna paired with Texas toast and grapes! For dessert we had some popsicles.

We started off September strong! On Tuesday we went to go visit our friends over at the Salad Station, and everyone loved their food; it’s always so nice when we can go eat there. After we were done eating, we went over to McGregor Park to stretch our legs some. A couple of the Peas wanted to go play, and then the rest of us played a game called Wonky which was so much fun! Then we decided we needed a sweet treat, so we walked over to Wendy’s for some frosties, and it was just what we needed after being out in the heat!

Wednesday was spent at one of our absolute favorite places; We Rock the Spectrum. Some of us swung or played on the equipment, and the rest of us did our own thing! Of course it’s not a true We Rock the Spectrum day without pizza, so that’s what we had for lunch!

Today was another really great day. Tommy hosted us at his home, and he showed us all of his favorite shows/movies. For lunch Chef Ron made us his famous ribs, and those were of course delicious!

All in all, we had a really great week, and we can’t wait to show y’all what we have planned this coming week.

It was a short week, but a great one nonetheless! Here’s what we did!

Monday was spent at one of our private homes, and we made the most of it! Some of us made cookies, and then we watched Cheetah Girls! We also decided that, since it was such a nice day out, we wanted to take the Polaris out for a spin and that was fun as always! For lunch we had sloppy joes.

On Tuesday, we went back to see our friends over at River City Clay, and that was a blast! We ended up making some pumpkins, and they came out looking so good; we can’t wait to show y’all what they look like! For lunch we went over to Strawberry Alley, and not only was the service pretty great, but the food was delicious!

We didn’t meet on Wednesday due to the schools being out, so everyone took a day to rest.

Today was a pretty great day! We stayed in and watched Mrs. Doubtfire, and the Peas enjoyed lunches from home. A certain someone took some pictures of his highly beloved speaker room, can you guess who that could be? 😂

We can’t wait to show y’all what we have in store for next week!

Another great week down; here’s what we did!

We spent Monday indoors at one of our private homes, and we watched some of our favorite movies. For lunch we had chicken salad sandwiches with grapes and watermelon on the side, and for dessert we enjoyed some ice cream cones! 🍦😋

We wanted to beat the heat as best as we could, so before it got too hot we went to Coy Lacy park and had a great time! We got some swinging in, and others chose to hang out and do their own thing. For lunch we visited our friends over at Cheesy J’s, and it was such a great experience overall; we just love coming to see them while also enjoying delicious food!

Wednesday was spent looking through antique shops and we found some pretty neat things! Then for lunch we went over to Burger King and not only was the customer service pretty awesome, but the food was pretty tasty too!

Tommy hosted us at his home today, and we got to do some sign language with Mrs. Betty. We also had us a Hannah Montana concert which was pretty fun! For lunch, Jacob’s mama was so nice and provided us with some mini tacos, which we always enjoy. Who doesn’t love tacos?! 🌮😋

We had a great week, and we can’t wait for y’all to see what we’re up to next week!

Here’s to another really great 2 weeks! We had so much fun!

The last couple of Mondays were spent at one of our private homes, and since it’s been so warm, it’s the perfect time to bring out the Polaris, so that’s what we’ve done! Between watching movies and riding around in the Polaris, we’ve been having so much fun! Both Mondays the Peas enjoyed home cooked meals.

We went to Miss Lucille’s the Tuesday before last for lunch, and it was delicious as always. Afterwards, we went window shopping; it’s always so nice to be able to walk through and see what everyone has for sale! For this last Tuesday, we went to go see our friends over at ReStore and we helped with recycling cans! The coolest part was that in doing so, we helped contribute to building one of the homes they’re working on; how exciting is that?! After all that hard work, we went over to CiCi’s for lunch and of course it was such a great time.

On the Wednesday before last, we spent our day hanging out at We Rock the Spectrum and it was such a pleasure as always. For lunch we ordered some pizza. This last Wednesday was a nice day, so we decided to walk through Dunbar Cave and take in the sights. Afterwards, we went to Sora for lunch and it was just an all around great experience.

We didn’t meet last Thursday due to Election Day, so we had a long weekend, but this last Thursday was an adventure for sure! Katie and her family/friends hosted us at their lake house and it was so much fun! Not only did we get to see a Park Ranger presentation on turtles, but all of the Peas got the chance to become Jr Park Rangers; how exciting is that?! For lunch we ate pizza (can you tell what our favorite food is?), and then afterwards we went on a boat ride! We then ended the hot day with some ice cream.

These last couple of weeks have been full of adventures, and we can’t wait to show y’all what else we’re up to in the coming weeks!

We’re back, and talk about a super fun week!

We celebrated Sabrina’s birthday on Monday, and in doing so we went to one of our favorite Mexican Restaurants, El Poncho Villa, and then for dessert we walked over to Menchie’s. It was such a great day, and Sabrina really enjoyed herself.

Tuesday was our last pool day of the season, so we made the most out of it! We all swam and some of us went down the waterside. For lunch we did hotdogs and chips, and for dessert we had banana splits! 🍨🍌

Mrs. Sarah’s birthday was on Wednesday, so we of course had to celebrate! She picked the Thirsty Goat, so we made a whole day out of it! We played the game Headbands, and some of us tried our luck at Corn Hole! For lunch we had some yummy pizza, and we finished the day out with a brownie skillet topped with ice cream!

Today was more of a relaxing day; we spent the day at Tommy’s house watching movies. For lunch, the Peas enjoyed lunches from home.
