American Legion Auxilliary CSM Gary W. Crisp Unit 289 For God and Country, we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.

The auxiliary unit meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 6 PM at the Clarksville Montgomery County Library. Co-meet with Legionnaires and break off for Auxiliary business
We do not have a physical location of our own we only meet here monthly. If you would like to reach out to us use our email address or messenger or you can call. We look forward to hearing from you.

Today was the first American Legion CSM Gary W Crisp Post 289 family BBQ! Everyone brought delicious food. More than we could eat! Thanks to everyone who came! Mike and Claire O'Rourke, were happy to host this party at our home. We hope everyone had a good time. It's great to see everyone in a social setting!

Thursday September 10th at our Auxiliary meeting, the draping of the Charter occurred in honor of Mrs Astra Eaglin. Mrs Eaglin had been a member since 2010. She was previously a member of Lonnell Williams unit 143, Clarksville, TN. She became a chartering member of CSM Gary W Crisp Unit 289 in 2019. Astra helped build the foundation of a newly formed organization as Unit Secretary.
Her kindness was known to all she met. Her smile brightened every room. She had a calming effect, steady and true in her service to the unit, Veterans and the community. Mrs Eaglin passed on from this earthly world August 15, 2026.
