Saturday March 28th was the American Legion Auxiliary Spring Conference hosted by Post 88, and held in Nashville. Jan Campbell and Claire O'Rourke attended from Post 289. It was a good day. We met several women from other posts in middle TN including Kaylee Waters (middleTN VP). Each Post in attendance gave a brief review of past current and future activities. Lots of information was shared, and a delicious lunch of lasagna and salad was served buffet style. Thanks again for a great day.

This evening, The American Legion CSM Gary W. Crisp Post 289, Inc hosted Congressman Matt Van Epps. A great speaker, he also listened to veterans opinions and his aide took notes for follow-up. Also, the husbands of 5 Auxiliary members were recognized for their hard work. These 5 men worked tirelessly to help fellow veterans clear 14 driveways after the snow/sleet storm we experienced. Thanks again to Dave Campbell, Roy West, Andy Berard, Mike O'Rourke, and Mark Mathes.
