😻It’s not just the humans that are obsessed with the Witches Brew! Bambi’s foster was checking it out too!

This little guy, Roscoe had his special surgery this week and is ready for his forever home. He is great around cats, dogs, and kids. He loves playing but also likes to cuddle for naps too! Please let us know if you are interested! He is 4 months old and weighs about 3 pounds.

While we always do our best to respond as quickly as possible, there are times when we simply can’t answer calls or messages immediately because we’re focused on providing safe, compassionate care.

💥This week we are finding ourself very low ⬇️on these two items and next week is a FULL 🔴week of surgeries!

We love it when ARC comes to visit and help us out at clinic! We were happy to meet some of the kitties from the Hardin County hoarding house and give them kisses and remind them that they have bright futures now thanks to Animal Refuge Center Inc! It is nice to know that when we work together as teams to care for animals that we can make a huge difference! If you live in Hardin County please make sure and check out ARC - a wonderful organization!

Today we had great clinic day but a hard time at the end. Today wasn’t a goodbye. It was, we will see you later but next time as Dr. Makayla Lowe-Sikes.

🫶🏼We are going to take a moment to tell you about this amazing lady! 🫶🏼Makayla started the nonprofit for TNR community cats in Owensboro when she was only 25, she has worked at multiple vet clinics and spay/neuter clinics as she has a strong desire to better animals lives through spay and neuter.

Makayla is also been a familiar face at the FIX GC clinic. We refer to Mondays as “Makayla Mondays” because not only does she bring animals for surgery, she is one of our most experienced vet techs that can simply bring peace to a busy day, firm structure to feral cat attitudes, and guidance during difficult cases.

We are so exited for her as she begins veterinary school at LMU this month. Please join us in wishing her the best of luck in her new journey! Your FIX family loves you and couldn’t be more proud of you!
