Gratitude Post! Thank you to all of our generous sponsors who have donated to our Fantastical Book Fair. The Friends of the Clarion Free Library is thankful for your support. We have some great raffle baskets! CRBC will be whipping up mocktails! Decorations by Susan Slike! Support for the baskets and games from the United Way, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Clarion Chamber of Commerce, Clarion Free Library, Spessard Law Firm, Jane's Blooms, and VIP Roasters. $25 for a VIP ticket, $5 at the door. VIP @ 6 PM on June 25. 7 PM at the door tickets.

Fantastical Book Fair in the Style of Violet and Xaden from Fourth Wing:
Violet: There's a book fair. Fantastical is literally in the name.
Xaden: No.
Violet: Independent bookstore. Supporting local businesses. Supporting the Friends of the Clarion Free Library. Lots of books. All kinds of books. The kind of books that make you forget the world is on fire for a few hours. And Xaden, we have earned this.
Xaden: ...What time does it start.
Violet: That's what I thought.
Xaden: I'm not excited. I'm just available.
Violet: Good. You will love it: games, baskets, food, mocktails.

The Clarion River Readers (formerly the Book Club at the Brewpub) will be reading The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon for our next read. We'll meet July 2 at 6:30 PM in the old literacy council room at the library. All are welcome!

📚 Volunteers Needed for Our Summer Fest Sidewalk Book Sale! ☀️

We are looking for a few more volunteers to help with our June 6th book sale!

If you have an hour to spare, we’d love your help with set-up, clean-up, or helping during the sale. It’s always a fun day of books, community, and supporting our local library ❤️📖

We are excited to be part of the Clarion Summer Fest again this year with a sidewalk book sale during the pop-up shops on Saturday, June 6th. Book sales are one of the biggest fundraisers for the library, and we will need volunteers to help us sell and organize books throughout the day.

In case you missed our earlier post - we're on a break! Guest bartender will be back -- bigger and better than ever -- in 2027! We felt the need for a rebuilding year. We will be excited to see you at Sparrow Book's grown up book fair on June 25 and at our summer book swap we're planning for later this summer at Mechanistic. And of course...who can forget Stew and Brew - we're excited for that as well. We'll see you back for guest bartender in 2027!
