Clarinda Families in Need will be a new charity in 2013. Why should we only adopt families during Christmastime? There are families out there who need assistance right now. This charity is currently in its infancy...planning, getting together a Board of Directors, and starting the Articles of Incorporation. All of this takes time...so we need some help! If you would like to be involved in helping
this charity get off the ground, and see our vision come to fruition in the next year, please send me an email. Clarinda Families in Need will be an online charity site in which individuals and corporations alike can donate funds or services to families with children 15 years or younger, who are in need of a special service or item(s) just out of their reach...anything from just having their lawn mowed to having a working means of transportation. If you are a family in need of assistance with children 15 years or younger living in your household, you may qualify. Since our program is so new, please be patient while we develop our application process. If you an individual who would like to take part in this cause, our current volunteer needs are:
- Someone who is familiar with filing Articles of Incorporation, 501(c)(3) packet, and obtaining a Federal EIN. Legal advice and guidance are always welcome!
- A Website developer to set up a platform for donations and tracking our donors and their contributions.
- A registered agent of the Clarinda community for receiving official communications from the state. If you would like to be a part of helping Clarinda's children by contributing to their success while helping to contribute to a solid sense of the community of Clarinda, please do not hesitate to message me!
