We are thrilled to share an exciting new project coming to Rogers State University! πŸ₯

Our TSET Impact Network Program at Volunteers for Youth is proud to sponsor and support RSU’s new disc golf course by funding the target baskets and additional course equipment.

This new course will create a fun, free, and accessible way for RSU students, faculty, families, and community members to get outside, be active, and enjoy time together. Disc golf is a great way to encourage movement, connection, and outdoor recreation and we are so excited to help bring this opportunity to life in Rogers County!

A huge thank you to Rogers State University for their partnership and for continuing to invest in projects that support campus life, community wellness, and healthy places to live, learn, and play.

We can’t wait to see students and community members out on the course soon! πŸ‘

πŸ³πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ What a wonderful Saturday celebrating the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the newly restored Blue Whale of Catoosa!

Our TSET Impact Network Program team was proud to sponsor the 5K and Fun Run races as part of the celebration and help support a fun, active way for families and community members to take part in this exciting event!

We also enjoyed visiting with attendees at our table, sharing kids activity bags, fun swag items, and information about our work to support healthier communities and strengthen families across Rogers County.

As part of the new area, the City of Catoosa - Municipality also installed a Breathe Easy sign, helping promote a healthier, more welcoming outdoor space for families, residents, and visitors to enjoy.

The Blue Whale is such an iconic Route 66 destination, and it was exciting to see the community come together to celebrate its restoration, history, and continued impact for residents and visitors alike.

Thank you to the Catoosa Chamber of Commerce (Oklahoma) and all of the partners who helped make the celebration such a success! πŸ’™

Welcome to, β€œWhat’s Growing Wednesday?”! 🌱

Sweet peas are a beautiful reminder that growth often needs support. Their delicate vine-like stems naturally climb and wrap around trellises as they grow taller each day. In many ways, they reflect the journey of raising children-providing guidance, encouragement, and something steady to lean on as they grow into who they’re meant to be.

You can observe this beautiful growth process right here at the community garden located at Ingersoll Public Library - Inola. From tiny sprouts to winding vines reaching toward the trellis, there’s always something new to notice and learn.

We’d also love for our community to be part of helping this garden thrive! If you’re interested in contributing to the maintenance or care of the garden, stop by and ask how you can help. Whether it’s watering, weeding, harvesting, or simply learning alongside us, every helping hand matters.

And while you’re visiting, take time to enjoy the garden and remember: if you see produce or flowers ready to share, take what you need. This garden was created for the community to grow together!
