Scripps College Mock Trial Scripps Mock Trial is a team of brilliant, hardworking Scripps students who compete in various mock trial tournaments throughout the year.

Every year, college mock trial teams all over the country are given a case packet by the American Mock Trial Association (AMTA). This packet contains everything the teams need to compete in tournaments that season. Using only this information, teams create a strategy, assign roles, and practice for competition, sometimes with only a few weeks in between each tournament. Team members act as either attorneys or witnesses and argue their case against another collegiate team in front of real judges, attorneys, and law students. Current Scripps Mock Trial Board:
