Our governor and First Lady are fired up about the Care Portal.

Since 2019, Florida has seen a 47% reduction in the number of children in out of home care
This is sharply due to church involvement!!

Prayer Request: Last week, a wonderful local family took in an emergency placement late in the night. We had the honor of providing some new clothes for the child. Please pray for a positive adjustment 🙏🙏🙏🙏

This week we provided fresh groceries for a disabled, single mom having car trouble. She said, "Thank you! God is good!"

Last week we provided a washer, dryer and refrigerator to a recently widowed mom of three. She was unable to wash clothes or keep food for months. Please pray for the family.

Testimony of a Mother:
A dedicated mom of six asked for help last week with beds for her family. They had recently overcome homelessness. She worked through complex feelings of shame when we came over. She said, "I know this bed is for me but I can't touch it."
A breakthrough in prayer came at 11pm after everyone else had gone to sleep. She said, "I sat on the bed and finally had peace to admit that I am a good mom. I AM A GOOD MOM!"

Praise God for sustaining this beautiful family!

Big shout out to the Family Resource Center for providing a twin mattress for a local child in need. This family has overcome a variety of circumstances. It was an honor to show up for them ❤️🙏

Meet Candice from Manna Ministries of Citrus County, one of our amazing community partners! Today she stopped by to pick up a mattress and cover for a child in need.

We are so thankful for partnerships like this that allow us to come together and better serve families with children in our community. When organizations work together, lives are changed and families feel supported, seen, and cared for.

Shout out to Elite HaulPros for helping secure a safe foster care placement. A teenager had an air mattress on the floor that was inflated & deflated daily due to space issues. John & Andrea immediately jumped in with their equipment and expertise to haul a used futon that clicks down into a bed.
