What “Reasonable Effort” Means
Scouts grow at different rates and have different strengths.
When a Scout makes a reasonable effort to carry out the duties of their position of responsibility, the requirement is considered fulfilled—even if the Scout’s performance is not perfect. Advancement focuses on learning, responsibility, and growth.
Growth is the goal.
