“MONICA’S JUST COOKIN”
This isn’t just a restaurant. It’s a celebration of Black history, Black culture, Black resilience and Black excellence, woven into every corner of this place.

For years, this restaurant has been serving this community, but I honestly believe it deserves to be experienced by people from Cincinnati AND people traveling from all over.

If you’re coming to Cincinnati, put this place on your list. Come for the food, but take your time and LOOK around. Read the stories. Look at the faces. Feel the history.

Because this is what Black pride looks like to me: remembering where we came from, honoring those who came before us, and celebrating how far we’ve come.

This is why I love discovering Cincinnati. There is SO much history, culture and beauty hiding in plain sight.

You all do know it’s kinda selfish to gatekeep your favorite hidden gem restaurants, right? 👀😂

These restaurants are working HARD to stay open, and I’m sure they’d appreciate some new faces, new customers and more revenue.

Think about it… if YOU owned a restaurant, how would you feel knowing people were intentionally keeping your business a secret when those same people could be sending new customers your way?

Put me on to the hidden gems! Any type of small business, not just restaurants 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
