🔥 Cincinnati Pride in Action – Even in the Heat! 🔥

Hey fam – you’ve got to see what Reds phenom Elly De La Cruz did during Saturday’s brutal heat wave! 🥵 At Busch Stadium, with temperatures soaring into the low 90s, Elly got sick on the field—yes, he vomited—but he toughed it out and didn’t just stay in the game… he smashed a two‑run homer in the 7th inning! 💪⚾ Talk about resilience.
Meanwhile, Detroit’s weather wasn’t kind either: over in Chicago, Mariners reliever Trent Thornton and even an umpire nearly collapsed from the heat—and had to be helped off the field. MLB parks responded quickly with misting stations and extra hydration to keep everyone safe

For Cincinnati sports fans, it’s a reminder of the grit and heart our Reds bring—even when the elements turn against them. Let’s raise a cold one to their spirit and support them as they push through the summer scorchers!
