We Need Your Voice. We Need Your Help.

It is with a heavy heart that we share that Their Voice of Greater Cincinnati is temporarily pausing our respite care program due to a lack of funding.

Over the last few months, we’ve seen a sharp decline in funding from private sponsors, grant opportunities, and community partners—many of whom are holding back due to economic uncertainty and limited government support. We’ve applied to the Department of Developmental Disabilities and several other grant opportunities, but approvals have been delayed or denied. Unfortunately, without the necessary funds, we are currently unable to pay our trusted respite providers.

This pause is deeply painful—not just for us, but for the families we serve. Respite care isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. It gives caregivers of children with cerebral palsy a chance to work, rest, and take care of themselves so they can continue showing up for their families.

But we are not giving up.

We are actively:
• Planning fundraisers, including an upcoming event through Michael’s Car Wash
• Continuing to host R&B Bingo Nights at The Pike
• Applying for new grants and seeking new funding opportunities

We know that with your support, we can come back stronger. Every donation—no matter how small—helps bring relief to a family in need. If you or your company can contribute, partner with us, or share our story, please reach out.

I would like to finally extend my heartfelt thanks to those who supported Their Voice of Greater Cincinnati during our 7th Annual Fundraiser. Your participation and generosity played a crucial role in making this event a resounding success.
