We’re getting ready to hit the road again! 🎭

This fall, See Me, Hear Me: Cyberbullying is heading back into schools across Ohio.

Right now, we’re getting the cast ready, packing up the tour, and preparing for another fall in classrooms.

More soon from the road. đź‘€

Our classroom residencies give students the chance to create original theatre from the ground up, with teaching artists there to help them take an idea all the way to performance.

A huge thank you to the Elsa Heisel Sule Foundation, R.C. Durr Foundation, and The Unnewehr Foundation for supporting this work and helping us bring these residencies into classrooms đź’–

What does theatre have to do with kindergarten readiness? Turns out, quite a bit.

Last week, ALT Insiders and guests gathered for lunch and a behind-the-scenes look at our work inside Cincinnati's classrooms.

Good conversation. Good company. Lunch that came in little boxes 🍱 What more could you want from a Friday afternoon?

Missed this one? Our next Insider gathering is a Happy Hour on September 10. 🍻

Do you like theatre?
Do you like community?
Do you occasionally have a useful idea in a meeting?

ALT is looking for volunteers to join our board committees:
- Brand & Marketing
- Board Development
- Fundraising

These are one-year volunteer roles for people who want to help guide the work behind the scenes. No acting required. Honestly, probably better that way.

We've got a new face on the ALT board! đź‘‹

Meet Chara Fisher Jackson, Executive Director & CEO of Preschool Promise and our newest board member.

Chara says what stands out to her about ALT is our “commitment to evidence-based practices that result in improved outcomes for children and their families.”

We're pretty happy to have someone who cares so deeply about young people and our community helping guide what's next for ALT.

Welcome, Chara!

A very normal morning: cameras, theatre, and the Harriet Beecher Stowe House. 🎥

We spent last Friday at the Harriet Beecher Stowe House filming a new promo for this year's Student Theatre Festival.

This year, students will dig into America's past, then create their own plays imagining what they want the next 250 years to look like.

No pressure, kids. Just the future of America.

Our first Insider Lunch n’ Learn is coming up!
It’s one of the perks of the ALT Insider Pass, our version of a season ticket.

The pass includes free admission to ALT-produced ticketed events for one year, plus special gatherings like this and a few extra perks along the way.

Good for people who want the season-ticket idea, but the ALT version.

A few moments from our pop-up performance at Pleasant Ridge Library.

We love bringing theatre into community spaces, especially places where people already come for stories.

Also air conditioning. Let's be honest.

Thanks to everyone who joined us!
