Flowers blossom and flavors flourish as Dollywood’s resorts draw inspiration from Dollywood’s Flower & Food Festival (April 18-June 7) and springtime in the Smokies. Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa and Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort each offer guests colorful and unique dining experiences, live entertainment and festival-influenced activities for the entire family.

Inspired by the season’s freshest flavors, resort culinary teams bring bright, spring flavors to the table. Each resort has its own festival-inspired food and beverage menus. At The Lounge inside DreamMore Resort, guests can enjoy signature festival dishes like the tri-tip steak and frites. This flavorful dish is made of grilled Santa Maria tri-tip steak, feta cheese, chimichurri and crispy fries. Ember & Elm: Tastes Rooted in the Smokies inside HeartSong Lodge features festival-favorite menu items such as the Tennessee honey flatbread with crispy pork belly, feta cheese, honey moonshine BBQ sauce, pickled red onions and arugula.

Spring has sprung, and Carowinds is heating up with Viva La Fiesta, a monthlong celebration showcasing the spirit of Latin America. Held on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from April 17 through May 17, the festival features authentic food and drinks, live entertainment and family focused fun as it transforms a part of the park into a colorful cultural carnival.

Located in Thunder Striker Event Plaza, Viva La Fiesta offers a vibrant mix of experiences celebrating Latin culture through food, live music, dancing, games, crafts, street performers and more.



The Carowinds culinary team serves a diverse selection of authentic dishes, desserts and cocktails inspired by Latin American cuisine. Menu favorites include bistec a la Mexicana, pollo guisado, bondi-pan, empanadas, yuca frita and more. The flavors reflect culinary traditions from Mexico, Argentina, Puerto Rico, El Salvador, Colombia and the Dominican Republic. A village of food booths throughout the festival area gives guests plenty of options, along with specialty beverages to complement each dish.

On stage, performers bring the passion of their cultures to life with high-energy shows scheduled throughout each festival day. From mariachi and baile folklórico to tango and salsa, the lineup delivers nonstop entertainment featuring acts such as ¡FUEGO!, Baila Conmigo, Wepa and others. Universal Orlando Resort is continuing its unprecedented momentum with the upcoming debut of several new experiences at Universal CityWalk – the destination’s entertainment complex featuring delicious dining, shopping and non-stop excitement from day to night.

Universal Legacy Store: The beloved Universal Legacy Store is set to return in late April with exclusive retro merchandise and photo opportunities inspired by iconic Universal Studios Florida attractions and films from Universal Pictures including E.T., Jaws, Back to the Future and Universal Monsters. The Universal Legacy Store will take the place of the Universal Epic Universe Preview Center, which will close effective April 13 to make way for the new experience.

Five Guys: Popular fast casual burger joint, Five Guys, is bringing its fresh, made-to-order burgers and fries to Universal CityWalk later this summer. This new addition will take over the existing Burger King Whopper Bar location, which will close effective April 21.

Luke Combs’ Category 10: Country music star Luke Combs and Opry Entertainment Group are set to bring the popular entertainment venue to a brand-new waterfront location where guests can enjoy live music, food and spirits, and more in 2027.

Dollywood Flower & Food Festival grows to life this spring with more than 1 million vibrant blooms, menus featuring fresh tastes of spring in the Smokies and unique entertainment offerings all in the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains.

A perennial guest favorite, the Flower & Food Festival—April 18-June 7—dresses Dollywood in its springtime best, with colorful and cheerful displays around every corner. Elaborate floral installations bring life to the park through large presentations of now-iconic Mosaiculture creations.
With spring in full bloom throughout the park, Dollywood’s culinary team has crafted a menu of delectable delights for guests to enjoy throughout the park. The available Flower & Food Festival tasting pass allows guests to partake in multiple food items at different festival locations.

Among the delicious items guests can enjoy are a flavorful pesto caprese sandwich, refreshing sunflower lemonade, hearty beef & sausage bread bowl, and the berry sweet blueberry lemon sweet roll. Six Flags Great America/Hurricane Harbor officially opens for the 2026 season on April 25, launching a milestone year as the theme park celebrates 50 years of thrills, family fun and unforgettable memories. The season features a summer-long 50th Anniversary Celebration running June 20 through Aug. 9 offering special entertainment, limited-time menu items, nostalgic experiences and new reasons to celebrate the park’s five-decade legacy.

Beginning April 25, guests can enjoy returning favorite rides and attractions across the park, while anticipation builds toward the 50th Anniversary Celebration. The summer-long event beginning June 20 will feature an all-new nighttime spectacular, nightly drone show, legacy museum with historic artifacts, anniversary brick program, exclusive merchandise, specialty food and beverage offerings inspired by the park’s history, and themed experiences designed to take guests through five decades of thrills.

The park’s 50th Anniversary Celebration will launch June 20 and run through Aug. 9, offering a can’t‑miss summertime event for longtime fans and first‑time visitors alike.
