Our family was proud to unveil a permanent plaque at the White Oak Athletic Club honoring Drew and JoEllen Nieman.
White Oak was home to Drew and JoEllen. They grew up here, raised their family here, and built a marriage that lasted nearly 56 years. Drew spent many years coaching youth football and baseball and served as President of the White Oak Athletic Club in the 1970s, with JoEllen always by his side.
Their commitment to family and community is a legacy that has carried forward through generations. Those same values of giving back, helping others, and making a difference in the lives of young people are very much a part of what the Forever 49 Foundation continues to represent today.
Drew and JoEllen's legacy lives on through their children, grandchildren, friendships, and the countless lives they touched throughout the White Oak community.
We are incredibly proud that their names will forever have a place at the White Oak Athletic Club, a community that meant so much to both of them.
