We are still accepting applications for BOTH Casting for Recovery Retreats in beautiful Cimarron, NM!

Please share with anyone you feel might be interested. These retreats are open to female breast cancer survivors living in NM, Southern CO and Texas Panhandle, whether you are currently in treatment or post‑treatment.

💗 Retreat #1 — All Stages Welcome

Dates: August 14–16

Open to: All breast cancer survivors, any stage

Application Deadline: June 4

💗 Retreat #2 — Stage IV Breast Cancer Survivors

Dates: August 28–30

Open to: Stage IV breast cancer survivors

Application Deadline: June 18

Both retreats offer connection, healing, and time in nature with women who truly understand the journey. Our staff will teach you about fly fishing and participants will be paired with an experienced fly-fishing guide to help as well. No experience is needed, just an open heart and willingness to show up for yourself.

Albuquerque anglers and film fans, it’s time to gear up! The 20th Anniversary Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) is landing at UNM Continuing Education on May 9th, and this year, every ticket helps change lives.

We are thrilled to bring this event to life through a powerful community collaboration with New Mexico Lady Anglers, New Mexico Trout Unlimited, and the Trout Unlimited Bosque Chapter. Together, we are raising vital funds for Casting for Recovery (CfR) New Mexico.

Where: UNM Continuing Education, Albuquerque, NM

We are so grateful to our incredible Casting for Recovery volunteer staff who recently gathered to plan our upcoming oncology informed fly fishing retreats happening this August in beautiful Cimarron, NM. 💕

These retreats are designed especially for women in treatment or recovery from breast cancer or thriving after a breast cancer diagnosis, offering healing, connection, and time in nature, all at no cost to the participants.

Behind every retreat is a team of dedicated volunteers who not only give their time, but also contribute financially 💵 to help make these experiences possible. From fly fishing instruction to emotional support, every detail is thoughtfully planned with care and heart.
