Quilted Love Making & donating quilts to wrap children with serious health issues, abuse, or trauma in comfort. We serve Cibolo, Schertz and San Antonio, Texas.

Quilted Love is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to handcrafting quilts for children facing serious health challenges, abuse, and trauma. Our mission is to create and sew comforting handmade quilts for children with the help of volunteers locally and across the United States. We donate these quilts to University Women's and Children's Hospital, local emergency services, women and child

ren's shelters, and national disasters that affect our local area. We are able to do this with the help of amazing people and companies who donate quilts, quilt tops, fabric, batting, and supplies, as well as fundraising events.

I was asked WHY we need monetary donations and what operating expenses we have …

Even with generous quilt top donations and amazing volunteers, it takes additional supplies to turn each top into a finished quilt.

Quilted Love purchases batting, backing fabric, fabric for volunteer quilt kits, thread, needles, binding, and other sewing supplies. We also cover shipping, packaging, and other expenses needed to get finished quilts to children and organizations in need.

We appreciate everyone who volunteers and donates! We certainly couldn’t do this without you!
