Please remember the special offering for Brother Strickland next Sunday November 3rd. I known several around the country are planning for a great day and they will will send these offerings in. Phil. 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
We arebat about 9k just in random offerings sent. Thanks to all who have sent and to those that are planning.

Update Brother Strickland Oct 7th
I just spoke to Brother Stricklands daughter by phone and felt I needed to give an update and clarify.
The family is rejoicing in the rescue of Brother Strickland but also broken of the home going of Sister Strickland.
I had second hand information about the rescue of Brother Strickland, when the National Gaurd arrived to airlift him out due to his injuries. He refused to go first because he was so concerned about his 90 year old neighbors, so he gave up his place so they go be lifted first then he was driven out on a 4 wheeler.
Please pray for this family with a long road of recovery and healing, in body and soul.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Strickland Family: with the National Guard and family to lead them, on October 1, they were able to rescue Brother Ray Strickland by means of a Blackhawk helicopter and then took him for evaluation and treatment of minor wounds, buy cloths and Praise The Lord he is with his children at this time. They were also able to retrieve Sister Stricklands body and 2 other neighbors from their homes. All in that area was a total loss with houses in rubble.
On October 6th Brother Strickland and The Laurel Branch Baptist Church were to celebrate their 135 anniversary, but the building was damaged and possibly more problems than could be salvaged.
We have set up Strickland Fund for a love offerings to send 100% to Brother Strickland.
He will be staying with children and then his sisters until The Lord gives him direction. Please continue to pray for this family.

Update from Tuesday evening.

We Praise The Lord for working in these past few weeks, as He still does. We are stone clear and stint to be removed on Thursday. Still weak but better each day.
Due to this weakness and congestion from bronchitis, we pray to be back on Sept 29 for the live broadcast. Untill then, we ask that all pray for The Lord's will to be done and our church will continue to grow in all things because of His trials.

It's me again; phone owner, they are starting paperwork for Dismissal, Praise The Lord. The doctor said he got all the stones and that the stint will come out next Thursday. Going home with meds for pain and infection precautions. Thanks for your prayers.

Once again I will not be able to have a broadcast this morning. I am dealing with kidney stones and not able to concentrate due to medication. I ask that you pray for us and the Peoples Baptist Church. Sister Sandi is sick as well, very congested. Thanks to all who will pray His Will ve done.
Lord willing, should be back on schedule.

What a blessing to witness another miracle from The Lord: Brother Eric Shiflett's mom, Sissy Vie, trusted The Lord Jesus as her Saviour this morning, being Born Again into The Family of God.
