🏈💙 This one hit home for us.
We live in a community that loves sports—the energy, the teamwork, the pride, the traditions. And moments like this remind us of something important…
People with autism are not separate from our community—they are our community.
They cheer for their teams, celebrate big wins, feel the excitement, and share in the moments that bring all of us together. Just like anyone else.
Autism isn’t something to “fix.” It’s simply part of how someone experiences the world. And just like all of us, people have different needs—especially in stressful or overwhelming moments.
That’s why our Girl Scout troop is working to create sensory kits for local first responders. Not because anyone is broken—but because everyone deserves support in a way that works for them.
Sometimes that support looks like quiet.
Sometimes it looks like something to hold, squeeze, or focus on.
Sometimes it just helps someone feel safe again.
💛 If this message resonates with you, we’d love your support this Autism Acceptance Month—whether that’s through donations, sharing, or just taking a moment to see things a little differently.
