NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY — SAVE THE DATE!

On Sunday, September 27th, we’re taking over the Phoenix Park Pavilion in downtown Eau Claire for the very first Neighbors.’ Neighborhood Block Party: Ready for Winter!

Throwing a Block Party has been on our hearts for as long as we can remember, and we want everyone to be there! It’s a chance to bring the Neighborhood together: housed and unhoused neighbors, businesses, churches, volunteers, community organizations, and anyone who believes our city is better when we actually know, love, and show up for one another. 🏘️🥳🤍

It’s gonna be a great time of fun, fellowship, and preparing for the upcoming winter season of street outreach with:
🌭 Food + a good ol’ fashioned neighborhood cookout
🎶 Music
🎲 Games + community
🧤 Winter supply collection + blanket drive
🎒 Packing outreach supplies together
💌 Encouragement for neighbors facing a hard winter
🤝 Opportunities to meet local organizations + get involved
🖤 A whole lot of neighbor-loving

So save the date, tell a neighbor, invite your people, and reach out if you want more!

Here’s where you can find us this week:

TUESDAY - We’re taking the day off for our 20-week anatomy scan. Did we mention that we’re pregnant?! Yes! There’ll be a new lil’ baby neighbor in January. Thank You, God! Come celebrate with us by grabbing a “Goo Goo Ga Ga” special! 🍼😍🙏

WEDNESDAY - Menards East (that’s the one by Target)! We’ll be set up until at LEAST 2:00 p.m., but plan to stay until we sell out or tap out. 😉

We love you, we appreciate you, and we can’t wait to see and serve you! Stay tuned for some updates on our Chicago mission and a big outreach announcement later this week! Yay! 🤍🏠🤗

This weekend, we’ll be heading to Chicago for another stop on the Ministry Over Business (M.O.B.) Tour with HOG MOB Ministries. This Chicago stop is especially exciting because it’s the closest one to home, AND, for the first time, the Neighbors TRAILER will be joining the tour as we help lead the street outreach piece of the mission! How cool is that?! 🤗

We’ll be pack and distribute essential supplies, share meals, offer prayer and care, build relationships, and show our neighbors that they are seen, considered, and worthy. And in all we do, we just want to love like Jesus. He met people where they were, cared for their practical needs, and shared the hope of the Gospel. That’s the example we’re following.

Part of our heart is to meet and know people on an individual basis, forming personal relationships. On Saturday, we’ll be a little farther away at an event very close to our hearts, Carver County Recovery Fest! This is a FREE, full-day community event celebrating hope, healing, faith and recovery! Hosted by Against The Odds Ministries and Battlefield Ministries, nonprofit organizations serving individuals and families impacted by substance abuse. MONDAY
We’ll be set up at Whispering Pines Golf Course for the Hope Village 3rd Annual Golf Scramble! We love Hope Village Chippewa Falls and all that they do to love (and house!) our neighbors. Stop by for a drink, even if you’re not golfing! ⛳️🏠😊

TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, & FRIDAY
We’ll be parked at The Corner by Chad’s Towing for the remainder of the week! It’s on Business 53, right across the highway from Affordable Tire. We love this cool, new spot, and hope you can come check it out! It hosts a variety of food trucks, covered seating areas, a hand washing station, porta potty, and more! What a great addition to the community! 😍🚚🥤
