🌸 Spring Garden Tour – Helpful Info Before You Go! 🌸
1. Where do we get tickets?
You can buy tickets now through the day of the Tour at H & H Pharmacy & Gift Shop or Sundial Books, or purchase online at https://chincoteague.helpfulvillage.com/events/1501.
Tickets will also be sold at the tour start: Museum of Chincoteague Island, 7125 Maddox Blvd — enter through the glass pavilion behind the museum.
2. Where do I get the brochure?
Brochures will be available starting at 10:00 AM at the Museuem of Chincoteague Island. Present your ticket to pick up your brochure. If you purchased online, your name will be on the list. The Spring Garden Tour runs 10:00 AM–3:00 PM.
3. Is it self‑guided? Do I walk or drive?
Yes — it’s a self‑guided driving tour. You’ll drive to each garden at your own pace.
Homeowners and gardeners will be at each stop to share insights about their gardens.
4. Is there a map? How do we know where to go?
There isn’t a map, but the brochure lists every garden with its address.
Each location will have a numbered sign that matches the number in your brochure.
5. Public restrooms are available next to the Island Theater on Main Street. No pets are allowed on the tour.
6. How does my ticket support Village Neighbors?
ALL proceeds from ticket sales go directly to Village Neighbors, helping Chincoteague residents age 60+ maintain active, independent lives in the place we call home.
