What an amazing day.

Last week, we received 22 bed requests on top of the needs we were already working to fill. We were down to our last few beds and scrambling to figure out how we were going to meet the need while working out of town in Rhode Island.

Then Tuesday, our bud Dale Cory gave us the best news we could’ve asked for THE Ohio State University had 100 bed frames and mattresses ready for us to pick up this week.

Today, we grabbed two last minute 26ft U-Haul rentals from our buds at CA Motors and headed up to Lane Avenue on OSU’s campus. On the drive, I had to fight back tears knowing the bud who started it all Carp was looking down proud that his beloved Buckeyes were helping us serve the community he cared so much about.

The team at OSU was incredible. They had us loaded in about an hour and on our way back home. Once we got to Chillicothe, we unloaded everything in the peak heat of the day at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

We are now able to meet the current needs in our community.

Oh and by the way OSU will have another 100 bed frames and mattresses ready for us in a couple weeks!

A huge thank you to Noah, Bill, Trey, Dylan, Brittney, Natasha, Michael, Kase, Ila, and most importantly Frank and Christy. Frank and Christy have been a true blessing not only to We Are All Buds Inc., but to my family as well.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support us. Without you, we wouldn’t be making the impact we are today.

What’s up Buds? We are in need of 5–10 volunteers this Friday to help us unload some frames and mattresses.

We’ve been incredibly blessed to receive 100 mattresses and bed frames from The Ohio State University, and we need help unloading and organizing everything once it arrives back in Chillicothe.

We’ll be meeting the OSU team around noon and expect to return to Chillicothe between 2:00–3:00 PM at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Main Street.

We are excited to announce our first Buds Workshop in partnership with Schluter Systems! This two-day event is designed to give the next generation a head start in the trades. We’ll be hosting 50 seniors from the Class of 2027 for a hands-on experience they won’t get anywhere else.

Quick update on what we’ve been up to lately. We were able to get 4 beds delivered and set up last week, and we already have 6 more on the schedule!

This time Mike was able to bring his special volunteer, his son, Kase, along to help out and learn a thing or two. He took his job as the "assistant" very seriously and was excited to be a huge help in getting everything ready. 💙

We have some really big news to share with you all soon, so stay tuned. Thanks for the continued support!

Another bed delivery is in the books for We Are All Buds this morning. We had some very special volunteers join us today as Travis brought his kids, Kendal and Bryson, to help out in Greenfield.

They were a help throughout the entire process. They didn't just help carry the bedding in…they were even hands-on for the actual installation of the new bed. Seeing them work together to help a neighbor is exactly what this is all about.

We are so honored to be building this community alongside all of you. It’s because of your ongoing support that we’re able to keep making these deliveries happen. Thank you for being such a vital part of what we do and for making all of it possible. 🛏️💙
