The Livingston County Cattlemen’s Association awarded 6 grants to Chillicothe FFA Chapter members who have an SAE emphasizing in beef production. The LCCA was organized to focus on supporting and promoting the cattle industry in our county and state through education and advocacy. Our goal for involvement with FFA is to encourage members to pursue their own beef operation. They must fill out an application and go through an interview process to be able to explain in detail their plans for their beef project and how they plan to be active in the beef industry. The selected individuals were awarded $2500 each, to be used towards the future growth of their cattle operation.

From left to right: Freshman Blake Anderson, Seniors Braydon Cull, Beau Ann Graves, Carman Woodworth, Sophomore Ali Probasco and Junior Andrew Schreiner.

Congratulations to those individuals! These grant’s wouldn’t be possible without our generous community and members, thanks to all!
