Homeland Baseball has officially entered a new era.

Our former manager, Alex Smith, spent the last three years building Homeland Baseball into a competitive program and an organization that kids and parents could be proud to be a part of. The foundation he helped build is something special, and his impact on this program won’t be forgotten.

Tonight, Taylor Stacy was voted in by the SVYL Board as the new manager of Homeland Baseball.

There is zero doubt that Taylor will continue what has already been built while also putting her own mark on the program. I’m excited to see where she takes Homeland and what the next chapter looks like.

Thank you, Taylor and Darian Stacy, for stepping up and taking on this role. It takes a lot of time, effort and commitment to lead a program, and I know you both will give Homeland everything you’ve got.

Here’s to the next chapter of Homeland Baseball. ⚾️💙

As our 2026 season comes to a close, we want to recognize the tremendous progress across all three levels of Homeland Baseball. Our B and C teams secured double‑digit wins, our A team completed one of its strongest campaigns in recent years, and — for the first time in at least five years — every level won a tournament game.

We are proud of every athlete who represented Homeland Baseball this season. Their commitment, effort, and resilience were evident in every practice and every game.

We extend our sincere appreciation to our coaching staff for the countless hours invested in player development and program growth. Your dedication has been instrumental in the continued improvement of Homeland Baseball.

We also thank the parents and families for your support, transportation, and enthusiasm throughout the season. Your presence and encouragement made a meaningful impact.

A special thank‑you goes to Manager Alex Smith and Brooke Smith for the extraordinary work you do to provide opportunities for 37 young athletes. Your leadership and sacrifice are the foundation of this program.

We look forward to returning to work this winter.

For the first time in at least five years (and possibly even longer) all three Homeland teams have won a tournament game‼️

That doesn’t happen by accident. 💪

That achievement is a direct result of the hard work these kids have put in, the support from their families, and the dedication of our coaches who have invested countless hours into this program. 🖤 💙 🤍

Tonight, it’s survive and advance for our A and B Teams as they battle through the losers bracket with their seasons on the line. Our C Team looks to keep the momentum rolling and remain in the winners bracket.

No matter what happens this week, we’re incredibly proud of this organization from top to bottom and everything these players and coaches have accomplished. ⚾️

But the job isn’t finished!

Since January, these kids have put in the work. Countless practices, extra reps, and 17 regular season games have all led to this moment.

For 9 weeks they’ve competed, learned, and grown as players and teammates. Now it’s time to see what all that hard work can do when it matters most.

Win and advance. Keep fighting. Keep believing.

Good luck to all three Homeland Baseball teams this week. Leave it all on the field and make the most of every inning.

The final week of the regular season is upon us before we roll into tournament play. It’s been a great season so far, but there’s still work to do and plenty of baseball left to be played.

Good luck to all of our players, coaches, and families. Let’s finish the regular season strong, compete the right way, and build momentum heading into tournament time!
