Our monthly Plus level dance is coming up Tuesday, October 6th from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Plus tips with no planned workshop during regular dance time. Workshop option for new moves will be offered from 9:00 to 9:30 for any wishing to learn the new list.

For all area square dancers…I’d like to invite you to lunch! No, I’m not buying, but I am the musical entertainment on October 2nd at the Senior Center lunch at Chillicothe. If we were to have dancers “flash mob” the lunch I will do some singing calls.

Awareness of our activity is the key to potential growth. Just keep putting it before people’s eyes.

Our Center puts on a very good meal and that day is roast beef, mashed potatoes and sides with salad and dessert. They always make extra but reservations would be appreciated if you come for lunch. 660 646-1555

The music theme will be cowboy tunes. So how about it? Let me know if you can come so I can plan the program. Also if I can help with a similar awareness effort in your community don’t be afraid to ask.

While we were hoping for more, it’s a start—we had one new dancer at our beginner dance tonight. She saw one of our flyers. We expect a few more to come in the next two weeks.

Saturday night, August 29, from 7:00 to 9:30 is our "Friends and Family" dance. It will feature some beginner tips for guests and also a couple of line dances. If you are curious at all about Square Dancing, this is the night to come out and watch and give this activity a try. No charge for new dancers & guests. We will be serving cookies as refreshments this month, not a full meal.

Tuesday, September 1 is our monthly Plus level dance from 7:00 to 9:00. All through this fall club caller Don will be teaching and practicing the new moves added to the Plus list. We welcome beginner or not so sure Plus dancers and workshop as needed.

This Tuesday, June 2nd, we will be hosting our monthly Plus level dance. From 7:00 to 9:00 pm. In honor of June the singing calls will be songs of that “special” one. Come join us with club caller Don Boyer at the mic. Snacks and coffee provided at the beautiful Grand River Multipurpose Center.
