Scholarship applications have been reviewed by our committee and selections have been made.
This year, the task was especially difficult, due to the number of applications and all the wonderful essays. I really wish we were able to award many more than twelve.
Thank you to the committee members who spend time to review all of the applications and to all the people who help and those who donate to the fundraising throughout the year. I couldn't do it without all of you.
I will post the names of the 2026 scholarship recipients on May 1st on this page and my personal page.

Do you know someone who is recovering from addiction? Do you know someone currently struggling with addiction? Do you know someone who lost their battle to addiction?

We will be doing the torches again this year for the annual ‘Memory Mile’ on leg 8 of the Buck Fifty. You can sponsor a torch in memory of someone you love to praise them for their recovery, support them in their journey or in honor of someone who lost their life to addiction.

MANY runners that have run leg 8 of the race have expressed how touching this leg is and how much of a reminder of the main reason for the race.

Torches are $25 and the money goes to the Joseph Landman Memorial MADE Scholarship fund.

Payments can be made in person, thru Venmo -landman or through Facebook pay. Along with the payment you will send Kristy Landman a message letting her know what you want on the sign. Payment & sign information is due by April 1st. You may also reach out to Beth Tackett, Heather Marie Landman or Lisa Shaw to purchase or get additional information.
