Irish dancing continues to grow in popularity across México, with dancers discovering a powerful connection to the rhythms, precise footwork and percussive zapateado found in Huapango. Although each tradition has its own unique history and identity, both celebrate community, music and storytelling through movement. ☘️👞🎶💃🏻

It was an honor to be part of El Grito Chicago and the meaningful civic ceremony led by the Mexican Consulate yesterday. We commemorated Mexico’s independence and brought our community together in celebration of our culture and heritage. We also had the unforgettable experience of sharing the stage with Banda El Mexicano and showing off our baile de caballito! 🎶💃🏻🕺🏻🤠

Day 2 capped off a fabulous week of performances dedicated to the independence of our beautiful and beloved México. We are incredibly proud of every dancer who helped us celebrate and honor our heritage on stages across Chicago. ❤️🤍💚
