Team Haymarket was out in full force at the Cedille Soirée!

What a joy to celebrate our friends and partners at Cedille Records, and especially to hear music from our Artaserse recording brought back to life by Key’Mon Murrah, Elijah McCormack, and Eric Ferring, joined by Andrew Rosenblum at the harpsichord.

This album began on the Haymarket stage, continued in the recording studio, and now carries Leonardo Vinci’s extraordinary music far beyond Chicago. Hearing these artists together again was a wonderful reminder of the ambition, virtuosity, and collaboration behind the entire project.

We’re so grateful to Cedille for championing Chicago artists and for giving Artaserse a life that will continue long beyond its original performances.

Congratulations to the whole Cedille team, and bravo to our wonderful Haymarket artists for representing the company so beautifully!

Purchase the album or stream online:
Available for purchase through Cedille Records and for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, and YouTube Music.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out on Sunday to our annual Soirée Cedille to support Cedille’s mission to champion Chicago’s finest classical music artists.

We had captivating performances from Britton-René Collins on marimba - making her Cedille debut album in 2027 - and members of the Haymarket Opera Company who sang selections from their Cedille album Leonardo Vinci: Artaserse.

We were happy to present our Musical Partnership Award to The People's Music School, accepted by their President and CEO, Miriam Goldberg Owen, and the Martin D. Ginsburg award was presented to longtime Cedille supporter Eva Fishell Lichtenberg.

It was a pleasure to celebrate with you!
