Friends, neighbors, area citizens

Please join me and Dan on Good Friday (April 7) to walk, in silence, in support of legislation to ban the sale of assault weapons & for universal background checks when purchasing fi****ms.

NOON – 2 p.m.

Meet in front of Old St. Pat’s Catholic Church and walk to Holy Name Cathedral and back.

This is admittedly a very small gesture. But small does not equal insignificant. We’ll walk single file in silence. Our act of walking with one another will be a ritual; reflective silence will companion us, and together we will witness to a shared dream for the common good and greater safety for all.

If possible, bring a sign to carry expressing "in support of legislation eliminating the sale of assault weapons and for universal background checks" or your own words. Please no reference to political parties.
