WALF organizes tours designed to deepen the appreciation for architecture in Chicago as well as to provide scholarships to architectural students of Illinois accredited architecture schools. The Women's Architectural League Foundation (WALF), a not-for-profit organization, continues to organize tours designed to deepen the appreciation for both historic and contemporary Chicago architecture. Conte

mporary tours frequently feature buildings under construction, or those recently completed/renovated, and are often led by the architects, or members of their team, involved with the project. Membership affords advanced notification of events, discounted tour and event rates, and the ability to network with like-minded individuals. In addition to exploring Chicago's architecture, WALF supports the city's architectural future by providing financial assistance to architecture students. Each year several scholarships are awarded to senior students at the Illinois Institute of Technology, and the Universities of Illinois at Chicago and Urbana-Champaign. Funds for these scholarships are provided by proceeds from WALF tours, as well as contributions from WALF members and others.
