For Carlene, the CROP Hunger Walk has always been about the things she values most: family, community, and adventure. Now retired, she has participated in the South DuPage CROP Hunger Walk for 34 years, helping fight hunger both in her own community and around the world.

This year, Carlene and her husband David took on their biggest adventure yet—hiking the Grand Canyon as part of the CROP Hunger Trek!

We’re grateful for supporters like Carlene, who remind us that every step helps build a world where hope is stronger than hunger.
