Audacious Praise is a Chicago-based community arts outreach organization dedicated to bringing people of all backgrounds together through inspirational, inter-generational programming. Our mission is to be radical ambassadors for Christ who seek to change the consciousness and the perception of urban communities by The Word applied through performing arts and outreach. Our vision is to create a c
ollaborative platform for artists from all walks of life who are not ashamed to share their testimonies for the glory of God and for the edification of His people. We endeavor to foster lasting partnerships with churches, community organizations, and leaders who align with our mission, so that together we may facilitate an authentic, creative approach for others to accept the love of Christ in their hearts. Throughout the city of Chicago, we see and hear the strains and struggles of our brothers and sisters due to homelessness, addiction, safety concerns for children, violence, hunger, and illness among other afflictions. The church body, which used to be an assured safe haven for the suffering and the marginalized, has dissipated in relevancy in many communities, though the desire to help and encourage people is still present. AP is boldly responding to these concerns by building relationships with and between churches and communities, and creating accessible, inexpensive, inter-generational productions that give voice to real life human experiences. When our church partners invest in our mission, we are not only able to provide quality music ministry for audiences, but are able to sew back into need-based communities in the form of service projects. Recent outreach initiatives have included community block parties, donating care packages for the homeless, free performances for the sick and shut in, and donating classroom supplies to Chicago elementary schools. The COMMUNITY is our stage.
