Please consider joining me on March 27 for my report-back from my deployment with Veterans For Peace Rapid Response Team (MN) and discussion on organizing community defense locally and internationally against the rise of authoritarianism, racist colonial war, and the ongoing threats against our most vulnerable community members.

Hi everyone ❤️ our comrade, and fellow anarchis the amazing Fischer lost everything, including his two sweet cats, in a devastating cabin fire over New Year’s Eve. Ryan is the most caring, dedicated and thoughtful person who brought so much energy and joy to our actions over the summer and continues to give his time to the Fairbanks community & important causes. If you have any extra funds, he has a GoFundMe:

This is a copy of the flyer that I have been distributing to soldiers exiting Fort Wainwright. It’s my understanding that they can’t be organized under the One Big Union. I’m just planting a seed here in hopes of germinating their working class consciousness in hopes of generating resistance. Comments from Fellow Workers would me most appreciated.

I'll be headed back to Fort Wainwright today around noon AK time, equipped with sign, flyers and Veterans For Peace flag.

Some 1,500 active-duty soldiers have been placed on standby for possible deployment to Minneapolis, a defense official confirmed to CBS News, as tensions in the city have mounted after a woman was fatally shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer.

Deploying the soldiers, from the 11th Airborne Division at Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks, Alaska, is one option for which the military is planning in case President Trump decides to use active-duty military personnel to respond to the ongoing demonstrations, the official said. No decision has been made on whether to deploy the soldiers.
