💙 There are 19 youth waiting for a mentor on our city's south side.
Young people experiencing foster care deserve consistent, caring adults who will show up, listen, encourage them, and walk alongside them.

Right now, 19 youth are on the waitlist for a mentor. You can help change that.

This is what support looks like. ❤️
A youth was struggling. A mentor was willing to step up. And when the call went out, our staff answered.

Because of that circle of support, this young person had the opportunity to attend a week-long sleepaway camp for teens living with a medical condition — on a full scholarship.

Sometimes, support is simply showing up. Sometimes it’s one person believing in a young person when they need it most. And sometimes, it takes a team coming together to create an opportunity that can change a young person’s outlook.

This is community. This is support. This is what happens when we don’t give up on our youth. 💙

Because of your kindness, each child experiencing foster care was able to choose a book tailored just for them — a book that reflects their interests, sparks their imagination, or simply gives them a special story to call their own. 📖✨

It was so special to see each child find a book they connected with and were excited to take home. Thank you for helping make that possible and for supporting kids in such a meaningful way! ❤️
