Chicago Branch is continuing the legacy of our founders of service and community. Along with our initiative of Literacy by volunteering at The Black Child Book Fair.

Held in Chicago during Black History Month on February 13th at The James Jordan Boys & Girls Club. Members in attendance

The Chicago Branch recaps the weekend spent with our North Central Section Sisters and our Sectional Director Sandra Walker, National President Betty Wilkerson and 1st National Vice President Annette Burton. Our Sectional Conference was hosted by the Peoria Branch.

The Mighty Midwest is growing and the bond of sisterhood and community was definitely on display the entire weekend. The Peoria Branch did an awesome job hosting.

Here are a few photos and highlights from the weekend. Our President receiving her certificate and crown on winning woman of the year. Our 3rd place plaque for having the most members in attendance at the conference. Branch members present were Dorine Johnson, Georgette Peoples, Joyce Butts, Linda Armstrong, Crystal Merchant and Our President Drusilla Murray-Amos.

Woman of the Year at the North Central Sectional Conference on November 8th.

President Murray- Amos motto for this year is the V3’s - Varied, Vivacious, Voice of the Chicago Branch and NAUW. She has truly embodied her message and we are so proud of the accomplishment. She is “Visionary Woman Serving in Unity and Love”.
